We trust you are having an enjoyable summer as in previous years an email a month to remind you that bible studies will return the first week in October I hope you don’t mind.

We are looking forward to the Tuesday study, This Jesus, based on the writings of Luke. The exciting history of the early proclamation of the good news about Jesus Christ. Starting Tuesday 3rd October.

In the meantime, Gordon offers the following prayer points as preparation starts for the Summer Mission.

Let us give thanks for the contacts made throughout the past months on the Discord online Bible Studies.

The old car broke down and was impossible to repair a few weeks ago, and we waited on God for the way forward. A replacement was brought to our attention and looks to be just what is needed. We are grateful to all who have prayed and to God who provides.

Prayer would also be appreciated, as the team prepares for the coming Mission based in Esh Winning Baptist Church from 13-27th August 2023.

• Equipment to be prepared.
• Sermons for adults
• Content for Children’s meetings - stories, bible verses, quizzes.
• Support for practical needs around the activities
• Additional helpers to volunteer and join in Distribution of invitation

In addition for the mission we are praying for, good health for all on the team and for the response of people to the good news of the gospel.

The Tuesday and Thursday Bible Studies continue until the summer and afterwards, the second parts, Acts and 2 Corinthians will take us on through the Autumn and Winter evenings

In addition we commenced a study on Revelation on a Wednesday information which has a more international attendance.

Plans are also underway for Missions during the Summer and Autumn

Esh Winning August 13th to 25th. Meetings are Monday to Friday 7:30 – 9pm and Sunday at 8:15pm. On Sunday 27th at 10:45am there will be a Celebration Service - all at Esh Winning Baptist Church, Durham Rd, Esh Winning, Durham DH7 9NP.

Meetings will include musical items, talks about the Bible and coffee and chat at the end.

also for children 5-11. August 14th to 25th, Monday to Friday 2-30 to 4-30pm.

Activities include games, bible stories, quizzes, magic and singing.

Details for the Autumn mission will be available over the summer

It is intended to restart the Tuesday and Thursday Bible studies on 10 January 2023 and the 12 January 2023.
