Psalm 43
One of the recurring themes throughout the Psalms is the struggle of the righteous servant against the unjust accusations of his enemies. There is always in these kind of situations, a cry to God for vindication, the writer knew the verse in Deuteronomy 32:36, that the Lord will vindicate his people. Perhaps he knew the story of Job 19:25 that I know my vindicator lives. In the middle of all his troubles he had faith in God that he would come to his defence.
As those believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we too have confidence in God’s interventions in our spiritual struggles for we know there is one mediator between God and man 1 Timothy 2:5 our blessed saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise God, He is always on our side.
