Psalm 104
The modern man seems to believe in evolution. You cannot watch a nature programme without the commentator constantly making reference to this theory presenting it as if it was a scientific fact.
However the Psalmist had no such problem. He not only believed in God but also that he was the creator of all things. Not only did he recognise the power of God in creating all things, he delighted to express his joy in such a creation and to be thankful that everything needed for man’s physical wellbeing was all part of the plan of God. He did not just look at a small part but ranged across the almost full spectrum of the world, plant life, bird and animal life, the complete physical terra firma, and rejoiced in the whole gambit, and glorified God.
