GOI online bible studies are a free way of learning more about the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Come and ask questions and discuss how the life of Jesus changes everything.
Questions are always welcome at online bible studies as we look to answer big questions using the bible as our guide and the life of Jesus as our example. However we also look to learn more about the story of redemption and the reason why the Son of God, Jesus, came to die.
The free online Bible studies currently happen on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the evening London time. All are welcome please contact us for details about how to attend online.
Only One
For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ. Galations 1:12
Paul explains that because of Jesus, it doesn't matter if you're Jewish or not, rich or poor, male or female—God loves and accepts everyone equally. The freedom that Jesus gives us through his death isn't just freedom from punishment for sin. It's also freedom to live a new life guided by God's Spirit instead of by our old sinful desires.
Paul wrote this letter to churches in Galatia because they were in trouble. False teachers had come in, telling new Christians that they had to follow Jewish laws and customs to truly belong to Jesus. This was completely wrong and threatened the simple truth of the gospel. Paul was upset because these teachers were confusing people about how to be saved. He wrote to remind them that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, not by following rules or doing good works.

Behold the lamb
and he looked at Jesus as he walked by and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God!" John 1:36
John's Gospel offers a powerful narrative where Jesus is revealed as the Lamb of God, fulfilling ancient prophecies and offering salvation to the world. 'Behold the Lamb' invites us to journey through John's account, discovering the profound love and sacrifice that define our faith.
Come join us for 'Behold the Lamb,' a Bible study where we will explore the profound portrayal of Jesus as the Lamb of God in the Gospel of John. Together, we'll uncover the deep meaning behind this title and its impact on our faith and lives.

Created.
then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. Genesis 2:7
When God made human beings, he did something special—he created them in his own image, meaning people are different from all other creatures. God breathed life into Adam and gave him a perfect relationship with his Creator. This shows us that from the very beginning, God wanted to have a close relationship with people, which points forward to how Jesus would later come to restore that broken relationship between God and humanity.
Even when humanity became so wicked that God sent the flood, he saved Noah and his family, showing that God always preserves a remnant of faithful people. Through these stories, we learn that while sin has serious consequences, God never stops working to save people and bring them back to himself—a work that would be completed when Jesus came to earth to die for our sins and rise again.
