Psalm 64
One of the great truths in the spiritual realm, expressed here in the physical is the truth that all Christians, wheither acknowledged or not, are soldiers fighting a spiritual battle in a physical world. The enemy is all around us and is always looking for opportunity to attack us.
Paul reminds us of this in Ephesians 6 where he exhorts us to put on the whole armour of God. He reminds us that we, as Christians should be awake and be well aware of his many schemes 2 Corinthians 2:11. We should be but we need to ask the question, are we?
Two forgotten weapons are listed in the armour of God, one is the sword of the spirit, not what we think but what God’s word says should be our watchword. The second is prayer. Most churches neglect these great weapons, sadly.
