Only One GOI Bible Study

"For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ. Galations 1:12"

Paul explains that because of Jesus, it doesn't matter if you're Jewish or not, rich or poor, male or female—God loves and accepts everyone equally. The freedom that Jesus gives us through his death isn't just freedom from punishment for sin. It's also freedom to live a new life guided by God's Spirit instead of by our old sinful desires.

Paul wrote this letter to churches in Galatia because they were in trouble. False teachers had come in, telling new Christians that they had to follow Jewish laws and customs to truly belong to Jesus. This was completely wrong and threatened the simple truth of the gospel. Paul was upset because these teachers were confusing people about how to be saved. He wrote to remind them that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, not by following rules or doing good works.
