When God made human beings, he did something special—he created them in his own image, meaning people are different from all other creatures. God breathed life into Adam and gave him a perfect relationship with his Creator. This shows us that from the very beginning, God wanted to have a close relationship with people, which points forward to how Jesus would later come to restore that broken relationship between God and humanity.
These free online bible studies occur on Thursday online on Discord. All are welcome to attend so please contact us for the details.
Even when humanity became so wicked that God sent the flood, he saved Noah and his family, showing that God always preserves a remnant of faithful people. Through these stories, we learn that while sin has serious consequences, God never stops working to save people and bring them back to himself—a work that would be completed when Jesus came to earth to die for our sins and rise again.
