Psalm 89
There is one phrase that occurs seven times in this Psalm. It is the loving kindness of the Lord or, in the Authorised Version, the mercy of the Lord. The first time is in Psalm 89:1 I will sing of the loving kindness of the Lord.
The Psalmist was keen to let people know about the goodness of God that he experienced. He was making a public proclamation to all who would listen, that the wonderful words of the Lord had been manifest in his life.
All Christians in all nations at all times should be keen to let people of how our God has dealt graciously and mercifully in our lives. We may not all be called evangelists but we are all called to be witnesses and tell others about the Lord. 1 Peter 3:15 Always be ready to give answer to every man that asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.
