Psalm 54
Poor David under attack, feeling the pressure and wondering when God would intervene but the problems were almost too much. Job remarks that ‘man is born to trouble, as sparks fly upwards’ Job 5:7. Our troubles and difficulties may be different from David’s but everyone will struggle with problems. Relationship problems, work problems, health problems and many others.
If we desire to walk with God for we face an added problem of persecution 2 Timothy 3:12, sometimes it’s very obvious, especially as we grow as a nation further from God. Sometimes it is more subtle innuendo, laughter, odd looks but we can have confidence that one day it will all change. God will intervene, we will be taken from this cursed world to dwell forever in heaven. No more struggles and problems!
