Psalm 92
Sometimes we are at best satisfied or content, but often we appear to be very ungrateful for all that God has done for us and provided for us on a daily basis. But not the Psalmist. He finds pleasure in thanking the Lord and singing his praises, he expresses God’s loving kindness and he is ever mindful of God’s faithfulness. He is thrilled at the mighty works of his God and expresses amazement that there are senseless people who in their hearts deny God and are therefore blind to his greatness.
The Lord Jesus found Israel was ripe with such characters as he ministered in his day. We too find an increasing number of people in our nation expressing thoughts and ideas that illustrate this is still a problem today. Some things never change!
