Psalm 77
One of the great things in reading the Psalms is that they come from the heart of people just like us, with their ups and downs in life. They honestly express how they are feeling. I believe we too must strive to be honest in our prayers we utter to God in private, not everything is for the public domain.
Jesus instructs us, when you pray go into your inner room, Matthew 6:6, where there alone with God you can pray openly and honestly. Are you angry? Tell God and tell him why. He will not be shocked or turn away. He who knows all things already knows the situation so be honest with him. In troubled times express to God your problems and take time to meditate on some of the many Devine actions in the past and in your life. You will soon find the cloud and gloom of facing your difficulties alone will begin to disappear in the light of God’s presence.
