Psalm 75

Psalm 75

(Read Psalm 75)

To all intent and purpose as we look around, especially in this country but also in the western nations, the church is failing many villages, towns and cities witnessing the decline. Where once there was three or four packed churches now often there is only one small one. The people who the bible classes as wicked. Not necessarly outwardly evil or educationally illiterate but all those who have remained on the sidelines of Christianity or indifferent to the true gospel. Being outrightly antagonistic, many of these are happy to see the decline of the moral standard of christians. They act as they will with no thought for the future, forgetting the sobering truth of Hebrews 9:27 ‘It is appointed for men to die once but after this the judgment.’

This is the message of the Psalmist here. Do not boast about yourself, do not behave wickedly, do not ignore God for at an appointed time He, the Lord, will act as judge of all the world.
