Psalm 37

Psalm 37

(Read Psalm 37)

Sometimes we find ourselves in a situation where we do not know which way to turn; there are benefits for us no matter which way we choose to go.

In Psalm 37:5 we are encouraged to give the situation to the Lord and trust him. This coupled with Psalm 37:17 to rest in the Lord and wait patiently. All these things are often real difficulties to commit our every decision to the Lord. We always like to think we are in control of our lives, trusting others even if it is the Lord to make our choices for us is also hard. Then, if like me, you tend to be proactive the idea of sitting back and waiting patiently is equally a strain on our spiritual nerves. But if we can take things to the Lord and trust him to know what is best for us, if we master the double difficulties of resting and waiting on the Lord we will find things always work out for our best interest.

Paul reminds us that all things work together for good to those who love the Lord. Romans 8:28
