Psalm 35
One of the reasons that many Christians enjoy reading the Psalms is because those who wrote under the anointing of the Holy Spirit speak out of the many experiences of life. They cried out to the Lord in the middle of their difficulties with no pretence that everything was nice and pleasant.
The Psalmist knew that life was a continuing struggle and battlefield and he knew too that many of his problems were within his own situation, that he was not blind to the fact that often his problems came from those close to him.
How true to our life experiences that many of the difficulties are from those near to us and yes most of our spiritual problems come from within the church. But the writer also knew that the only solution to all problems is to be found in God alone.
