Psalm 14

Psalm 14

(Read Psalm 14)

In many modern churches and even among us called evangelists it seems to be a crime to talk about sin and to imply that everybody is a sinner.

It is a dereliction of our Christian responsibilities to keep quiet about this great but sad truth whether we are brought up with no church connection or whether we went through the rituals of all the church systems this truth never alters. The question of sin is not a question of how good or bad we are, it about our relationship with God. God has a different perspective for judging that relationship which is why we have comments like we have at the start of this Psalm.

You see from God’s point of view our inability to keep his commandments as we do not come to the required standard, Romans 3:23. That is why Christ died so that through faith in him we can know in our lives the cleansing for sin and restoration of a right relationship between God and us.
