Psalm 102
Near the end of this psalm we are brought face to face with the great truth of the great immutable God Psalm 102:27. The dictionary tells us that this word means changeless, then for whoever is immutable is not subject to or susceptible to change in form, quality or nature. This is a wonderful expression of our God. He is always Holy in his nature, he is never less than this but perhaps more exciting for Christians, is that John tells us that God is love, 1 John 4:14. This is his nature, in this he is unchanging. He has loved us from before creation. He has demonstrated that love in that Christ died for our sins. He loves us today with the same intensity of love and he will love us the same forever. For all believers we will experience much more of the richness of this love in his house for all eternity.
