Psalm 121
This particular Psalm is the only biblical item I learned at school, but the more I read this particular portion of God’s word the more confidence, strength and encouragement I gain in my walk with God. Wherever I am, whatever the circumstances I know, like Job, that my redeemer lives, Job 19:25, and because he lives I know the great truth that whether day or night, sunshine or rain, I am watched over by one who never sleeps or rests but he is always caring for me.
Like the Psalmist I know that the protecting hand is God is on me and he is with us in times when all seems to be going great and in the darkness of the tunnel of difficulties. He is the good shepherd who watches over me, protecting, guiding and leading me in the upward journey to heaven.
